The Montville Chamber of Commerce has a current membership of 90 members and growing.
Our aim is: “To promote economic vitality and sustainability in Montville through creating relevant services and opportunities to deliver business and community growth.”
We currently provide the following opportunities for members:
The Chamber has initiated a Montville News page in the Range News, to ensure that local issues, members and all Montville groups have a voice in the local media.
We also have regular live crosses with ABC local radio to let listeners know about upcoming events in Montville.
A map listing every business on the Main Street has been produced. In collaboration with ArtsConnect, we printed the Arts and Heritage Trail for Montville on the reverse side.
We print Montville car stickers which are handed out at the Montville information booth to promote our town.
General meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month. A variety of evening and breakfast meetings are held and topics range from educational to social.
Social Networking Opportunities
Social opportunities via Chamber organised events such as a biennial black tie ball, and joint activities with Hinterland Tourism, Montville Village Association and Maleny Chamber of Commerce.
We have a dedicated Wedding Business Committee to combine marketing resources and promote Montville as a premier wedding destination.
The Montville Chamber of Commerce ensures communication of local issues to Council Representatives and State Members of Parliament. We liaise closely with Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd, our local peak tourism body to ensure that our region is well represented. Membership also gives you access to Chambers of Commerce and Industry Qld (CCIQ) and information relating to legislative changes, and issues affecting business generally.
