Range Restaurant and Café Awards: We need your help to taste test! Have you been tempted lately? Make it a date and come up to our beautiful Hinterland roof garden and indulge your taste sensations.

We are so fortunate to live in a foodie haven here on the Hinterland and we want to share the joy! The Range Restaurant and Café Awards have been designed to encourage and reward restaurants and cafes for outstanding cuisine, ambiance, service and value for money. With fresh innovative cuisine and gorgeous destinations, the Range is a top food destination.

The good news is that you will be spoilt for choice! With winter here, it is the perfect time to put the focus firmly on good food options in the run up to the Real Food Festival in Maleny September 13/14. Rate your dining experience on the entry forms or online for a chance to win a $200 weekend dining voucher.

Montville Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Maleny Commerce and Hinterland Tourism Sunshine Coast (HTSC) to enable local food businesses to showcase their own unique culinary experience. Ten cafes and thirteen restaurants from Mapleton to Witta have taken up the challenge this year.

The awards are much more than a competition, they are an opportunity for cafes and restaurants to celebrate what they do well. This year we are encouraging diners to reward good service by acknowledging outstanding staff.

There are plenty of reasons to come up to the Hinterland any time. Why not go all out and stay with us. Many dining venues have fabulous accommodation nearby. To help plan your culinary experiences, take a peek at the participating food destinations.
