Small Business Week 1-6 September



The Queensland Government is giving small businesses a serious burst of energy as it recognises the important role Small Businesses play in Queensland.

Queensland Small Business Week will run from 1-6 September 2014 and offers a range of events and learning opportunities regionally. Small business owners and operators will be able to consider new ideas, connect with other businesses and access information and services to help them grow and increase productivity.

Demystifying Business Management Systems Workshop

Good Business Management Systems are required by the supply chain to win work in major projects, including Government and private tenders, the Resources or Defence sector and large buyer groups. This workshop has been developed to give you the information you need to invest your time and energy to increase your success.

Serious about Safe Business?

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is offering free workshops to small business.  The first two workshops will beBasic Safety Management Systems and Risk Management, each workshop runs for two hours.  The workshops are designed for small businesses with little or no safety systems in place.
