Creating and developing the Montville Artisan Village Brand.

Montville-Artisan-Village-LOGO.pngSince the 1970s, Montville has been renown for it's art and craft. Now our village and surrounds is home to a holistic mix of crafts people, like cheese makers, jewellery makers, chocolatiers, chefs, photographers and of course painters and potters and furniture makers.

By promoting our region as an artisan destination we are embracing our authentic identity.

A Village Wedding Expo Montville

Our Wedding Expo sub committee have delivered a number of very successful wedding expos to highlight our region as a wedding destination. The 2019 A Village Wedding Expo was held in Montville Village Hall, St Mary's Hall and the Village Green in August 2019.

Christmas Shopper Campaign

Each year, the Chamber coordinates a  TV and radio campaign to encourage people to do their Christmas shopping locally. Businesses have been very generous in donating several thousand dollars worth of prizes that are won by several lucky shoppers just prior to Christmas. This campaign has generated much goodwill over the last few years. The 2020 Campaign was a great success with prizes from retail, accommodation and restaurants/cafes, valued at approximately $9,000 was won.

The Montville Chamber of Commerce ensures communication of local issues to Council Representatives and State Members of Parliament.  We liaise closely with Visit Sunshine Coast (VSC)  our local peak tourism body to ensure that our region is well represented.  Membership also gives you access to Chambers of Commerce and Industry Qld (CCIQ) and information relating to legislative changes, and issues affecting business generally.
