Montville State School Thanks MCoC Businesses

On behalf of the Montville State School families, we would like to express our deeply heartfelt gratitude to the numerous Montville businesses supporting our school.

We're a small school with strong community values, and the involvement of our local businesses continuously reinforces the messages of harmony, interconnectedness and co-operation that we're striving to teach our children.

The 'Christmas In July' dinner raised over $5,500. These funds have gone directly into supporting the Kitchen Garden Program. Gifts kindly donated by you for the Volunteer Raffle prize, drawn at the end of terms 3 & 4, acknowledge the time and effort given by our volunteers, helping to ensure the continuation of such activities as classroom reading support, tuck shop, the Montville market school stall and the permaculture garden maintenance. Our 2014 graduating year 6 and 7 students were most excited by the gifts you provided for their memory bags. The Kitchen Garden donation red watering cans have been a lovely link between the school and businesses, and we thank those businesses who have rattled the can for us. We would also like to make special mention of the 10% discount and voucher scheme offered by Amazen, and the Cuppa for kids run by the Montville Coffee Pot last year.

We value the partnership and good will in the Community that comes from working together. On our behalf, we acknowledged all donations in our school newsletter sent home in hardcopy and via email, and on parade of a Friday afternoon. In term 4 we supported the Town Proud campaign and the MCC Lucky Shopper Christmas Hampers.

From all of us at Montville State School, "THANK YOU!"

We really appreciate it, and we love working with you.
