For the first time, 'HinterLand' will play host to the spectacular ArTech event – a showcase of local contemporary and technology based arts.

To be held in the Montville Village Hall on October 26, ArTech has a little something for everyone that will get you thinking and challenge your perception of art.

Produced by University of Queensland’s Post Graduate students, it will feature aboriginal artwork, arts and craft workshops, face painting, music, a showcase of local artworks, bead making demonstrations and a number of workshops by Sort Recycling.There will be prizes to be won and a BBQ to round off the family friendly activities.

Some of the confirmed events in the ArTech program include:

Bead making demonstration from Illume Creations

- Robot Factory workshop for kids and youth from Sort Recycling

- Artwork from Art Connect Inc

Sunshine Coast Arts and Crafts and Food that sings

The event will cost $2.00 per person and will be payable upon entry.

Come along and show your support to the students, who are hoping to build a creative and artistic atmosphere to welcome everyone to join in and have fun!
